Creative worshops

We have spent two very creative days, thinking of a new vision for building 38 to be the heart of Highfield campus. The outcomes of the creative workshops will be made available soon.

Spaceshaper event

Here are some details in relation to the Spaceshaper event taking place
tomorrow (if you have registered also for attending one of the
workshops, more details will follow soon after).

Spaceshaper is a tool developed by CABE (Commission for Architecture and
the Built Environment) that "captures the views of professionals who
are running the space as well as those of the people that use the space.
Facilitated workshops discuss the results, design quality and how the
space works for different people". You can find out more here

but no previous knowledge is required to take part to the event.
The Spaceshaper tool will be used to evaluate the quality of place
surrounding Building 38 - the heart of Highfield campus.
This will create a valuable base for discussion and future visions to be
develop during the workshops phase.

The Spaceshaper event (and following workshop) will take place in
Building 44 ( School of Geography) in Room 1087/1089 (Ground floor -
next to Cartographic Unit)

The workshop rooms are centrally located and have a view on the areas we
will be exploring (facing Building 38).

The Spaceshaper event and workshops will be led by Solent Centre for
